Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix is an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordained minister at Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix showed an early aptitude for athletics when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting talent at that time. Only 10 weeks after her first attempt, she finished third in the 200 meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for a professional career with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set the Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007 she defended that title, beating her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top third of each of her events in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
